"Because down-time is a dirty word in business..."
Stephen R. Graham
Stephen R. Graham is the president of SRG
Steve has worked with computers since 1981 when he first became
intrigued by the thought of one machine replacing an entire office.
Throughout the eighties, Steve became more and more skilled at
computer upkeep and troubleshooting and became the unofficial IT person
at his various office positions.
He also developed a number of
public relation skills during his work as a public Interest lobbyist
and community activist. His most successful campaign came in 1987 as
the project coordinator for blind sailor Jim Dickson’s attempted solo
sail across the Atlantic. Steve became the official spokesperson and
press coordinator appearing on such shows as The Today Show, Good
Morning America, CBS This Morning and Nightline. After the campaign,
Steve refused any job offers that took him away from his young family
and turned back to public interest lobbying. In 1989, realizing that
Public Interest work was not providing the income his family needed,
Steve started his computer business where he continues to this day. His
clientele includes manufacturers, design firms, physicians, credit
unions, accountants and community groups. He has also served as President
of the George Wiley Center, an anti-poverty advocacy group.
